Glass processing

Technological processes

A comprehensive technology park covering tempering, edge processing, drilling, cutting, enamelling, sandblasting, WATERJET cutting and VSG laminating. Every process follows industry standards and the technical documentation provided.

ESG tempering

Thermal tempering of float and coated glass — dimension and thickness range confirmed for each specification.

Edge processing (grinding and polishing)

Precise grinding, polishing and arrising of glass edges. Arrising is a mandatory preparation step before tempering — it removes micro-cracks from cutting and protects the pane from thermal breakage in the furnace.

Hole drilling

Technical and mounting holes to technical drawing or .dxf file — required for hardware and point fixings.

Cut-outs (technical / mounting)

Cut-outs for hinges, handles, profiles or pet passages — based on supplied production documentation.

Ceramic enamel coating

Durable, UV- and temperature-resistant glass surface finish — for façades, balustrades, doors and architectural elements.

Sandblasting

Matte finish and surface decoration by sandblasting — for window and door joinery, internal glazing and representative elements.

WATERJET cutting

Precise water-jet cutting with abrasive — for non-standard shapes and demanding technical details.

Quality control and measurement

Verification of dimensions, thickness and surface quality at every production stage — EN standard compliance and order documentation confirmed before dispatch.

Base and specialist glass comes from float plants and suppliers. WWGLASS processes, tempers and seals it into finished insulating units to specification.

Butyl

Primary seal ensuring airtightness of the insulating glass unit.

Polyurethane

Default, durable secondary seal for insulating glass in typical installation conditions.

UV silicone

Option for units where the edge will be visible or exposed to UV, e.g. façades, skylights, structures without full edge cover.

Air and argon

Units with air or argon, selected for expected parameters and unit build-up.

Internal muntins

Muntins in insulating glass

We install muntins inside the insulating glass cavity. Choose the profile width below — foils, painted and white finishes are available on enquiry.

Georgia 18 mm

Narrower profile — subtle division lines in the cavity.

Georgia 26 mm

Most common choice for window and door joinery.

Georgia 45 mm

Wider profile — stronger grid character on the façade.

Rottler und Rüdiger 8 mm

Slim 8 mm muntin for a discreet cavity division.
